Since I bought my Galaxy S7 I wanted to take a look at Qi wireless chargers. It could make my daily routine of having to plug in the charger at night even easier!
As some might know, we’ve been building a house for a while now. We’re now into it about 1 year and I thought it would be nice to show a video of how things are progressing and also showcase some of the “features” that are going into the house.
So, introducing the Home Networking series 1st post and video! The home networking series will be my journey starting from scratch, creating the plans, having the house built and installing everything to try and create the ultimate home setup. I’ll take you with me, share the good and the bad and hopefully some some fun going along! Continue reading Home Networking: First walk through on the build site→
As you probably where able to see in the previous video I decided to replace my 6 year old Sony Nex-5 with a Panasonic G7. I remember thinking 6 years ago that it was sad they where still bringing out PAL (25FPS) and NTSC (30FPS) models of the same camera without allowing you to change it. Guess what, this new Panasonic is locked too! Horrible!
I recently purchased a new camera and needed a new SD card for it. I selected the Lexar 1000x Professional 64GB and before I used it in the camera I ran some tests on it. Continue reading Review: Lexar 1000x Professional 64GB→
Have you ever wondered if there is a big difference between a cheap Chinese USB charge cable and an original or 3rd party brand one? This post and video will be a follow up on my post about cable length.
This will be a little bit of a hybrid video and text post. First up, the video:
Yup! This blog started March 2013 and has been doing pretty well for itself. So I decided it was time for a complete overhaul and something new. Continue reading Blog overhaul→
I made a new video about phone charger cables to see if their lengths influences charging speeds.
In this video I take a look at two brands of cables and I check 1ft, 3ft, 6ft and 10ft cables to see how they perform. In the metric system these are 30cm, 1m, 2m and 3m cables!
I recently purchased a Electronic Load (the ZKETECH EBD-A20H ) to test some small power supplies. I often use little power supplies for small LED or ESP8266 projects and since I mostly buy stuff in China I often don’t really know how good those power supplies are.
This post will be about phone chargers, so, Phone chargers 101!
For a while now I’ve been interested in several types of power adapters and power delivery. This started with LED drivers and 12v/24v power supplies for LED lighting. There will be more about that in later blog posts. For this first time tryout talk video I’m talking about phone chargers, how they have changed over the past few years and my plans on testing them in follow up videos and blog posts! Let me know what you think and leave a like if you liked it on youtube!
