I love using Samsung SSDs (SATA or NVMe) and have them in most of my builds. But for some reason, Samsung does not publish a way to update the SSD firmware on Linux and their ISO boot tool is completely broken. Let’s fix that!

Seagate IronWolf 10TB Firmware Fix (CRC errors with ZFS)
I’ve been using Seagate IronWolf disks for a few years now and currently have about 20 in service, most of those are the 10TB (and 12TB) Non-Pro (ST10000VN0004) variety. Most of my experience with them has been great so when the new server build came along I bought a few more to run as my main ZFS pool. Sadly, things didn’t go exactly as planned, but I think I was also able to fix it, so let’s see what happened!

ESP8266 WiFi LED dimmer Part 3 of X: Flashing and programming the ESP-01
To get started with the ESP8266 ESP-01 I recommend flashing and programming it before soldering it down. This way you know it’s working and that the program code is also functioning. Depending on how you mount it on your board it can be a bit hard to do so later on!

New Firmware Version 2.5.0.0 for DM368/DM365 DSP IP Camera
Someone made a comment on my original post about the 5Mpix TI DaVinci DM368 DSP camera that tpsee (the internal board manufacturer) has released firmware 2.5.0.0 for our cameras. I believe that to be worthy to open a new topic for!
